We All Have Limits Everyday, We Need To Decide To Keep Going

I have been looking back in life the last few weeks. I looked back to the days I was in High School. I played basketball and soccer and had fun, but with fun comes pain. Then I thought I was in the worst pain ever, now I wish I could go back to those days. What has happened in all our lives have taught us a lesson, so I thought I would blog what I have learned in life.

Everyday Pain in Life

5 Stretches To Relieve Sciatica Pain Posted on September 15, 2015 by Dr. Shannon Thieroff

When I was a child my parents told me there was everyday pain and there was “pain”. I was confused then now I am not. But what are your everyday pains? Should you be in pain almost everyday?

I have been doing a lot of research on pain the last week, so do not rely on me as your only source. I recommend your see your doctor if you are having severe or consistent pain.

Can Everyday Pain be Avoided?

I want to believe we all have everyday pain. You may think I am a little harsh but I see it as the reason to show compassion to the ones around us. We can avoid pains we get everyday, but you may not know how. I want to help.

Posture

I think what causes pain in most people young or old is posture. Posture is the way one sits, stands, and does work everyday. There is no perfect posture, but that is because everyone is different. If you get shoulder pain, back pain, lower back pain, or hip pain it could be your posture affecting your body.

Getting Enough Sleep

I know the way it goes everyday. You have to get up, get ready, get the kids ready for school, get your coffee, and head to work. How many hours of sleep did you get? It is sometimes hard to get to bed on time. We have dinner, bills, taken care of the kids, time with your spouse, and more. Sometimes it seems like the day flies by and we didn’t get anything done. We still need sleep!

When you go to sleep your brain is still working. It works issues out in your brain. Studies show a good night’s sleep can improve your learning skill. They also show lack of sleep alters activity in parts of your brain. Not getting enough sleep can make decisions difficult,  controlling your emotions difficult, solving problems, and more.

We should always get plenty of sleep. It is good over a long time. Lack of sleep can hurt your personal life as well as your professional life.

Exercise, Exercise, Exercise

We should do a little working out everyday. Now you do not need to be able to push 100 pounds, but doing stretches, walks, or runs are good to help keep you lose and easier on pain. Yoga is good to learn and use to do stretches. It also helps calm you.

What to do if Pain Keeps Coming?

I unfortunately am not sure what to do with consistent pain. I have had pain for the last 15 years and it continues to get worst. That is why I am writing this. Almost 5 years ago it didn’t hurt everyday, but for long periods of time. Now it is everyday consistently. If you are like me I want to offer a few suggestions. There are herbs and vitamins that may help you. The B vitamins is good for your nerves and muscle. Also do stretches, they may not help a lot but it does ease pain. Finally see your doctor, chiropractor, and/or massage therapist. They can help you. I hope this helps someone.
