Muslims Launch Powerful Social Media Campaign Against ISIS With #NotInMyName

Muslims around the world are joining an anti-ISIS social media campaign sharing pictures and messages with the hashtag #NotInMyName.

Ever since 9/11 there has been hatred towards the Muslims. I understand for those people who have no understanding of religion, culture, traditions, or beliefs, because I hated the Muslims fourteen years ago. A few months after 9/11 I heard on the Late Show that it was the “Evil” Muslims. This shocked me. I was thinking rebel Muslims are attacking us. I was not sure if Jay Leno was correct or not. So I did some research to confirm or disprove what was being broadcast.

I did find out the next mourning on NBC News that we found out that a Muslim Terrorist Group attacked the World Trade Center. I was confused because I worked with a Muslim at that time. I would never label him as a terrorist. He was kind, funny, smart, a helping-hand, supportive, and loved to talk.

I had only been out of High School for a little over a year and I remembered what my English teacher taught me. She taught me there are many different kinds of people out there. It does not depend on the color of their skin, their culture, their religion, their sex, or the profession. All that it matters is their Faith. Although I am a Christian and the Muslims are mainly Islam I will say this… I believe God gave us the free will to choose for a reason. He does not want puppets. He wants us to chose to follow Him.

I believe it does not matter what religion anyone believes in, we all need to have Faith. Faith is our “Ray of Hope” for the Afterlife. One thing we all who believe in a god needs to do is make sure you believe in the True God. I am not being arrogant saying I am right, because I could be totally wrong and the Atheist is right, but I have had visions, heard the Voice, and I have been healed by God Almighty twice. Since the first day I was Saved I have felt more secure in my heart and have never doubt Him.

If everyone in the World would learn one thing from Jesus Christ I wish it would be this…

Ephesians 4:32
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
