Do you know what a Christian is? Do you know what Salvation means to your soul? I have been a Christian since I was 12 years old. I went to a Christian School and my teacher Saved my Soul. Since then I have felt like there was a meaning, a purpose for me. Unfortunately about 15 years ago I went down the wrong path in my life. God has been calling me for the last 10 years or more to come back to Him. Yesterday I decided to listen for once and went to church today. I have not felt this much at peace for a long time. If you have had hard times in life, troubles, lost loved ones, struggle at work, cannot hardly pay the bills or feed the family and you need peace then stay with me. I have had such hard times the last 3 years suicide has crossed my mind. Today it will not come back because I am back with God the Almighty.
Life After Death
I was 12 years old when I learned that Heaven was where we went to be with God, the Angels, and our family. I have been to two different Christian Schools the first one is where I was saved within the first few months. My church was preaching about getting Saved, but they did not explain why I should get saved. My principal at the time was preaching our weekly sermon and he explained it a lot better. It is because of him I went to my teacher and she lead me to Salvation in Jesus Christ.
So, What is Salvation in Christ?
Salvation is our key into Heaven after death. If we are not Saved we will be cast into Hell with Satan in the End Days. Salvation is not a piece of cake, but it does not take you away from everything in your life. Salvation makes your life better, more peaceful, and the End Times in your favor.
When a person gets Saved in Christ they are devoting themselves to Him. This does not mean to quit your job, sell your house, and leave everything you own to charity. What it means is you heart has been touched by God and you want to be a better human being. You know what is right and wrong and now you want to stay focused on what is right. You have intentions on making changes in your life like: holding your tongue on bad language, being
Ephesians 4:32
“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”
King James Version (KJV)
kind to others, sharing, control you anger, and go to church. It may seem complicated to do all this, but you do not have to do it all at once, God has patience. You need to just set a goal to become a better person and eventually it will become easy. God will eventually give you challenges. An example would be like running into a guy in an alley and he offers you a hit on his “joint”. Now let’s say you have done marijuana in the past before you became a Christian. What would you do? It does not have to be marijuana. It could be alcohol, drugs, smoking, prostitution, gambling, and more. So what would you do? Would you follow the sinner or would you just say “No.”? Saying “No” should not be that hard, but with Jesus with you He makes it a lot easier.
Salvation is like having a team. You are the leader. You chose what path you are going to walk everyday. Jesus is your solder. He defends you when you get in trouble. He is als your counselor, adviser, friend, and the one you go to when you are heartbroken. He is everything in one and He is always by your side.
Where do I go after death
Life after death is complicated. There are many scriptures that talks about the afterlife and sometimes can be conceived as an instant moment or a waiting game. This is something I have researched since I was saved. I still do not know for sure. What I do believe is that when we die we will conceive it as instantaneously as being either in Heaven with God the Father or in Hell. Now that does not mean it will happen instantaneously. It will be like when we go to bed. We fall asleep, we go into REM sleep for 6 to 8 hours, and then we wake up. It seems to us that we just layed down a moment ago but it is hours later.
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
King James Version (KJV)
1 Corinthians 15:51-54
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Living Now
God wants you to enjoy your life. He wants you to be happy, have fun, and not need anything. As long as you live a good life and follow him He will provide you with what you need. Now what you want is another story. Although I will get to that another day. I will say sometimes I have prayed a lot for somethings and I have never received an answer. In reality I did. He responded by not giving me what I wanted because it was not sufficient for me. He knows all, sees all, and hears all things. Just follow Him and he will direct your path.
Proverbs 3:6
“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
King James Version (KJV)
